About the position The Quality Manager I - CSRD Reporting is responsible for supporting the implementation and reporting of sustainability initiatives in alignment with the European Union's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). This role is critical in ensuring compliance with environmental policies and regulations, tracking pollution control, resource usage, and sustainability metrics, while collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities • Partner with various internal departments to ensure alignment of sustainability strategies and integrate compliance measures into daily operations. • Create, review, and update policies focusing on managing the company's material impacts, risks, and opportunities related to pollution and resource use. • Conduct regular audits and reviews to track the effectiveness of sustainability policies and implement corrective actions as needed. • Oversee the collection and management of sustainability data, including substances of concern and resource usage, and report on these metrics as required by CSRD. • Proactively identify and assess risks related to the use, production, and disposal of substances of concern and develop mitigation strategies. • Serve as the main point of contact for sustainability compliance inquiries from regulatory bodies and third-party auditors. • Recommend and implement innovative strategies to maintain and improve sustainability practices and reporting accuracy. Requirements • Minimum of 8 years of experience in environmental sustainability, regulatory compliance, or a related field. • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or related fields is required; advanced degree preferred. • Extensive knowledge of EU environmental regulations, including the CSRD and ESRS frameworks. • Proven track record of developing and implementing sustainability strategies and ensuring compliance with environmental policies. • Strong data management, analysis, and reporting skills. • Experience conducting audits and working with third-party auditors and regulatory bodies. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
