Job Description

Lockheed Martin is a leader in aerospace and defense, dedicated to keeping people safe and solving complex challenges. They are seeking a full-time Early Career Data Analyst to support F-35 Sustainment activities, focusing on fleet metric reporting, data modeling, and analytics tool development.


Responsibilities

  • Perform as a technical contributor for execution of at least one of the following F-35 Sustainment activities: fleet metric reporting/degrader analysis and reconciliation including process efficiency identification/assessment; modeling data creation (data science/analytics) in support of performance modeling (supply logistics or fleet achievable metrics); and/or, analytics tool capability development/test including dashboard design/creation

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Computer Science, Mathematics, and/or other related fields
  • Coursework or experience with manipulation/analysis of data in spreadsheets (MS Excel)
  • Coursework or experience in using databases and/or visualizations (MS Access, HANA, Tableau, or SQL/Oracle)
  • Coursework or experience in formal presentation development, PowerPoint construct and delivery, and working in a team environment
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • This position will require a government security clearance
  • Advanced experience in using spreadsheets (MS Excel - Equations, Pivot Tables and/or VBA)
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
  • Understanding of performance metric measures and readiness reporting techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Python, SharePoint or Tableau experience a plus
