About the position
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for an aspiring professional looking to join a leader in computer vision and biometrics. At this position, you will play a crucial role assisting our research and development team with data collection and analysis, while also helping to create a productive working environment by supporting the day-to-day operations of our Denver office. - Responsibilities
- Performing image annotation tasks through a web browser application, including but not limited to clicking points on faces and objects, and performing โcaptcha-likeโ tasks on sets of images
- Consistently delivering highly accurate annotations with strong attention to accuracy and throughput
- Physical data collection using cameras
- Reviewing the output of other part-time and crowd-sourced annotators
- Assisting in the management of the day to day operations of the Denver office, including working with vendors, ordering supplies, managing incoming and outgoing mail, and providing general administrative support
- Coordinating employee events, including team outings and office activities.
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and vendors.
- Maintain a welcoming and organized office environment.
- Maintain a strong relationship with building management, working with their team as needed.
- Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree
- 2+ years of professional experience in an office environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to consistently perform tasks accurately over time without sacrificing quality
- Ability to closely follow technical instructions
- Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion
- Excellent people skills and the ability to work independently and well with others.
- Proactive, dependable, and able to work independently while also supporting a collaborative team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to work out of the Denver office 2-3 days a week.
- Nice-to-haves
- Proficient in Google and Microsoft applications.
- Technical and computer language skills are not required but a plus.
