About the position Under the direction of the Supervisor, BI & Analytics, the Developer I - BI & Analytics is responsible for creating, maintaining and updating IEHP enterprise reports and dashboard. The position also serves as the technical support for all reporting projects within the BI & Analytics team. The role is expected to design and develop scalable solutions using AI tools and machine-learning models; utilizes big data computation and storage tools to create prototypes and datasets. Proficient with multiple AI tools such as Python, Java, or R and machine learning frameworks like Spark, TensorFlow, or Sciket-learn. Responsibilities β€’ creating, maintaining and updating IEHP enterprise reports and dashboard β€’ technical support for all reporting projects within the BI & Analytics team β€’ design and develop scalable solutions using AI tools and machine-learning models β€’ utilizes big data computation and storage tools to create prototypes and datasets Requirements β€’ One (1) or more years in analytics, data science and business intelligence β€’ Experience in developing reporting using Business Intelligence tools (such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, MicroStrategy) β€’ Experience in report writing and analysis, including experience working with large data sets that have complex relational designs and with unstructured data sets β€’ Experience in database design, query development, table joins and report development and creation β€’ Data analysis experience in the areas of medical or health services is preferred β€’ Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field from an accredited institution required β€’ Working knowledge of diagnosis and procedure coding, medical terminology, knowledge of managed care, claims payment processes, and insurance terminology required β€’ Knowledge of data visualization and Business Intelligence tools is required (such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, MicroStrategy) β€’ Strong data analysis, data presentation, spreadsheet, and database capabilities β€’ Strong expertise in the Microsoft platform for business intelligence and reporting: Microsoft SQL Server, SSAS, Power BI, SSRS, Access and Excel β€’ Strong analysis and critical thinking skills β€’ Excellent interpersonal/ communication skills β€’ Proven ability to: Multi-task while maintaining careful attention-to-detail β€’ Handle multiple projects, data input, and strong problem-solving capability β€’ Be an independent self-starter who is driven to success, takes great pride in accomplishments and works with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and address competing priorities Nice-to-haves β€’ Data analysis experience in the areas of medical or health services is preferred Benefits β€’ Competitive salary β€’ Hybrid schedule β€’ State of the art fitness center on-site β€’ Medical Insurance with Dental and Vision β€’ Life, short-term, and long-term disability options β€’ Career advancement opportunities and professional development β€’ Wellness programs that promote a healthy work-life balance β€’ Flexible Spending Account - Health Care/Childcare β€’ CalPERS retirement β€’ 457(b) option with a contribution match β€’ Paid life insurance for employees β€’ Pet care insurance Apply tot his job
