An opportunity is available for a licensed Audiologist to provide specialized audiology services within a K-12 public school district in Virginia. This contract position runs through the current school year (CSY), starting ASAP and ending June 16, 2026. The role involves working directly on-site with students across multiple schools in the district, providing critical hearing assessments and support for the student population. Key Responsibilities: β’ Conduct hearing evaluations and screenings for K-12 students across several school locations. β’ Develop and implement an audiology program to replace previous contracted services. β’ Travel between schools within the district to provide itinerant support. β’ Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and other professionals to enhance student hearing health and access to classroom learning. Qualifications: β’ Doctorate (PhD) in Audiology required. β’ Active and valid Audiologist license in the state. β’ Experience working with pediatric populations preferred. β’ Strong communication skills and ability to work independently. β’ Commitment to on-site presence; this is not a remote or hybrid role. Location: β’ Chesapeake, Virginia β schools within the local public school district. Work Schedule: β’ Full-time, approximately 37.5 hours per week.
