As our events portfolio continues to grow in scale and complexity, we’re looking to add an Event Operations Coordinator to support the execution, organization, and operational consistency of our events.
This is a junior, entry-level role ideal for someone early in their career who is detail-oriented, systems-minded, and excited to learn how large-scale events come together behind the scenes.
About the Role
The Event Operations Coordinator will support the Events team by managing operational and technical tasks across our in-person events, virtual programs, and special projects. This role focuses on execution, organization, and process support, helping ensure events run smoothly and consistently.
You’ll work closely with the Events team to support event builds, monitor deadlines, coordinate logistics, and maintain accuracy across event platforms and internal systems.
This role offers a mix of hands-on execution and operational coordination, giving you exposure to how large-scale events actually come together from start to finish.
What You’ll Do
- Execute key operational tasks for in-person and virtual events, such as:
- agenda management and organization,
- presentation collection,
- publishing of speaker and agenda web pages,
- scheduling and leading “tech checks” (rehearsals) for virtual events,
- reinforcing deadlines for submission materials,
- importing and updating speaker, sponsor, and agenda details,
- collecting, updating, and creating webinar landing pages
- Work with the Events Team on special projects, such as:
- sourcing party venues and manage logistics,
- collect and organize specifications for print materials,
- manage logistics of various event technologies, such as lead retrieval and smart badges
- Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combined experience
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and managing detailed information
- Proficiency in Google Sheets
- Ability to follow processes while also adapting when things change
- Clear communicator who can work with both internal teams and external partners
- Interest in event operations, logistics, and behind-the-scenes execution
- Must be willing to work long hours during event build-outs and travel on various weekends
- Ability to travel up to domestically and internationally 5-15% of the time

- Exposure to event management platforms or virtual event tools
- Experience supporting operations, logistics, or project coordination

- Location: Fully remote (U.S.-based; East Coast preferred)
- Travel: Approximately 2–4 in-person events per year
- Reporting: Reports to the Events Team
- Level: Entry-level / early career
