- *Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Studio Exploration and Examination team. As a Data Analyst, you'll work closely with our Disney+ Item teams to investigate and organize data, as well as provide support for quantitative and qualitative research projects. Your primary focus will be on Disney+ Item and Buyer Experience following projects.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with a wide range of qualitative and quantitative analysis tasks, including data collection and preparation, data extraction and analysis, and report writing.
- Collaborate with different teams to conduct research at arenaflex, including presenting project objectives, business requirements, and timelines to efficiently focus on, promote, and enhance our datasets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with research partners within the team and from different divisions of the organization as well as external vendors.
- Analyze and prepare ongoing and impromptu reports involving quantitative and qualitative data for various groups within the item marketing, engagement, and product strategy of Disney+ and the Disney Streaming Pack.
- Manage allocated projects, execute quality assurance cycles, and report tasks and status to supervisor(s) to ensure completion within established timelines.
- Work with the Sr. Administrator and team to ensure that each outcome is decisively significant and drives key independent direction.
- Collaborate with the team and research groups within Snowflake and Databricks.
- Maintain both exceptional verbal and written knowledge of data components and requirements.
- Respond to basic data requests from internal clients.
- Support the presentation of findings based on research conducted and contribute to related business discussions.
- *Essential Capabilities**
- Proficiency with SQL, with the ability to extract and join disparate data sources.
- Ability to extract data and join with other data sources to develop a rich, comprehensive picture for the business.
- Strong quantitative thinking and analytical skills.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-speed environment.
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to create clear and concise visual presentations.
- Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to work effectively in a climate of tight deadlines and continuous change.
- *Favored Capabilities**
- Proficiency in data handling tools (e.g., SPSS, Q, MarketSight).
- Experience with survey tools (e.g., Translate, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey).
- Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, ideally cloud-based, like Snowflake, Databricks, or similar.
- Knowledge of R, Python, SAS, STATA, or similar programming languages.
- Postgraduate education in Statistical Research or Measurement.
- Quantitative analysis background, either provider-side or client-side.
- Experience with analyzing survey data to extract significant insights.
- Experience with membership-based plans of action and procedure.
