We're seeking an experienced Loss Prevention Customer Service Associate II to join our team at our HomeGoods store in Nanuet, NY. As a key member of our Loss Prevention team, you'll play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment for our customers, while also providing exceptional customer service and support to our store teams. - *Key Responsibilities**
As a Loss Prevention Customer Service Associate II, you'll be responsible for:
- Maintaining a proper and professional stance in the designated area at the front of the store, acting as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss/dishonesty
- Reviewing and understanding the Store Emergency Response Guide to ensure your safety and the safety of others
- Wearing a complete arenaflex-approved uniform, including a Body Worn Camera, to maintain a professional appearance and ensure customer safety
- Greeting customers appropriately, demonstrating courtesy and respect, and establishing and maintaining a position at the front of the store or in a department
- Responding to customer requests for assistance by referring customers to store management or customer service via a Company-issued radio
- Observing and reporting any suspicious behavior or critical incidents to Loss Prevention or store management
- Performing a closing safety sweep of the store with a member of management to ensure a safe and secure environment
- Adhering to all arenaflex policies and procedures, including documenting required incidents in AIIM Case Management
- Performing other duties as assigned by management
- *Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Sound decision-making skills, with the ability to take initiative and perform well independently
- Prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, with a strong focus on customer service and security
- 0-2 years of retail or security experience, with a passion for customer experience and security
- *Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:
- Previous experience in a Loss Prevention or security role
- Knowledge of arenaflex policies and procedures
- Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
