Our team members are the backbone of our organization, and we're committed to providing them with the tools, training, and support they need to succeed. **Job Summary** As a Remote Data Entry Operator, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering information into our customer information system and other Public Works software. You'll work closely with our Customer Service team to ensure that all data is up-to-date, accurate, and easily accessible. This is a part-time remote position, offering the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. **Key Responsibilities** * Establishes and maintains utility accounts, ensuring accurate and timely updates * Verifies account eligibility and accessibility, resolving any discrepancies or issues that may arise * Prepares, distributes, and completes work orders, ensuring seamless communication with customers and internal stakeholders * Prepares files for mass customer communications, including billing statements and other notices generated in-house * Assists with mailing billing statements and other notices, ensuring timely and accurate delivery * Scans or retains documents, maintaining a secure and organized digital archive * Performs monthly audits of incomplete account transfer requests, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions * Enters data into Key Performance Indicator tracking databases, providing valuable insights into our operations and customer satisfaction * Performs other related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the Customer Service Division **Essential Qualifications** * High School Diploma or acceptable equivalency diploma (GED) * Two (2) years of experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist * Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite * Excellent typing and accuracy skills, with a minimum of 40 words per minute * 10-key skills testing for consideration * Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on attention to detail * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders **Preferred Qualifications** * Associates degree in business administration, data entry, or related fields * Two (2) years of experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist * Specialized knowledge of Public Works software and customer information systems * Experience with data analysis and reporting, with a focus on Key Performance Indicators * Certification in data entry or related fields, such as Certified Data Entry Specialist (CDES) **Skills and Competencies** * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on attention to detail * Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision * Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite * Excellent typing and accuracy skills, with a minimum of 40 words per minute * 10-key skills testing for consideration **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At Worknovaq, we're committed to providing our team members with the tools, training, and support they need to succeed.
