As a Volunteer Virtual Livestream Event Moderator, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's passionate about creating a welcoming and supportive virtual space where everyone feels included.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
As a Virtual Livestream Event Moderator, you'll be responsible for:
- **Audience Engagement:** + Welcome and energize the virtual audience during live sessions, setting the tone for a positive and inclusive experience.+ Monitor and interact with audience comments in the chat, responding to questions and keeping the energy upbeat.+ Share event updates, encourage participation, and maintain a positive, inclusive environment.
- **Live Session Moderation:** + Host and moderate livestreamed conversations, panel discussions, and Q&A sessions with performers and speakers.+ Guide one-on-one conversations between audience members and featured guests.+ Manage timing and transitions between segments to keep the event on schedule.+ Work with the production team to troubleshoot any live communication issues.
- **Community Building:** + Foster a welcoming and supportive virtual space where everyone feels included.+ Help amplify the festival's themes of self-love and resilience by encouraging meaningful dialogue.

- **Is available to dedicate 5-10 hours per week leading up to the festival and full availability on February 13, 2025:** You're committed to the festival's success and willing to put in the time and effort required.
