Hereβs what you can expect: Join a dynamic and diverse team of 8-12 passionate individuals. Travel across various locations in the U.S., with all expenses covered. Participate in 3-6 significant service projects with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), concentrating on critical areas such as disaster mitigation, planning, preparedness, and response. Projects may include connecting disaster survivors to essential benefits, managing supply warehouses, evaluating emergency shelters, and more. Receive the valuable Segal Education Award, which can be utilized for educational expenses or qualified student loans. Benefits All transportation, housing, and meals provided. Bi-weekly living stipend of approximately $430. Enjoy paid leave, sick leave, and emergency leave. Access a limited health benefit plan. Aged between 18-24. Willingness to travel throughout the United States and U.S. territories. Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
