I need an expert in Monday.com + Zapier to fix a broken integration. (should literally take less than 45 mins to fix)
Here’s the issue:
I am trying to use the “Specific Column Values Changed in Board” trigger in Zapier.
Every time I test, I get this error:
“Unable to pull columns values changed events. Error code: Error while retrieving: (undefined) Internal server error.”
Monday.com is not syncing with Zapier when I update the board.
What I’ve already tried (unsuccessfully):
- Reconnected Monday.com to Zapier (via API key).
- Rebuilt the Zap from scratch.
- Tried updating the board live.
- Consulted ChatGPT 5, Claude, and read through every Zapier help doc.
- Contacted Zapier support (awful experience, not helpful at all).
- None of that worked.
What I Need:
- Diagnose why Monday.com column changes are not triggering Zapier.
- Either fix the trigger OR implement a stable workaround (e.g., Monday webhooks into Zapier).
- Deliver a working solution where Zapier runs reliably when a specific column is updated in Monday.
- Provide short documentation so we can maintain it going forward.
