About the position

The Hotel Front Desk Agent serves as the first point of contact for guests, managing all aspects of their accommodation to ensure a pleasant and memorable stay. This role involves responsibilities such as registering guests, managing reservations, and providing information about the hotelย’s amenities and services.

Responsibilities
ย• Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
,
ย• Manage online and phone reservations
,
ย• Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
,
ย• Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
,
ย• Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
,
ย• Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
,
ย• Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner
,
ย• Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs
,
ย• Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests
,
ย• Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
,
ย• Maintain updated records of bookings and payments

Requirements
ย• High school diploma or GED
,
ย• 1 year of hotel experience (preferred)
,
ย• 1 year of front desk experience (preferred)
