Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Early Childhood Education Specialist to join our team as a temporary part-time assessor. In this role, you will conduct one-on-one math assessments with kindergarteners in elementary schools in the greater Salt Lake City, Utah area. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one mathematics assessments with kindergarteners on site at elementary schools in your region.
- Review assessment materials each day for completeness and errors.
- Provide clear, concise, and timely communication to District Coordinator who will supervise daily assessment progress.
- Independently troubleshoot at elementary schools to ensure a successful assessment environment for all children.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, human development, early childhood education, or any field that provides the relevant experience to perform the responsibilities outlined above.
- Flexibility to work, on average, between 20-25 hours per week during the assessment period.
- Availability for training and certification on the measures in September 2024.
- Fluency in English and intermediate proficiency in Spanish to administer the assessments bilingually is preferred.
- Located in the greater Salt Lake City, Utah, area.
- Prior experience working with elementary school children required.
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and access to a personal vehicle for transportation to the school sites.
- Proof of negative TB test will be required upon hire.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
