Job Description
biBerk Business Insurance is seeking a Help Desk Technician to support users in a dynamic organization. The role involves responding to technical issues, setting up new users, and configuring endpoints, while being part of the IT team.
Responsibilities
- Setup new users in Active Directory
- Setup new users with Office365
- Configure new laptops and desktops for employee use
- Assist with first level troubleshooting of user issues, escalate issues as necessary
- Remove user access when they are no longer with the organization
- Install software on desktops and laptops as required to support business needs
- Manage groups within the AD infrastructure
- Setup new users on the VOIP system
- Setup users as required in 3rd party SaaS applications
- Troubleshoot email issues within Office365
- Troubleshoot end user network issues
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Related field or equivalent working experience
- 1+ Year of proven experience in a helpdeskdesktop support role
- Ability to work from 8:30AM-5:00PM EST, this is currently a hybrid role with both in-office and work from home days (subject to change)
- Required Technology Experience: Windows 10
- Required Technology Experience: Understanding of IntelAMD Desktop and Laptop hardware
- Required Technology Experience: Active Directory
- Required Technology Experience: Office365
- Preferred Technology Experience: Basic networking concepts
- Preferred Technology Experience: Basic security concepts
- Preferred Technology Experience: Basic VOIP concepts
