About the position
We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to join our team and play a key role in maintaining and ensuring the accuracy of our financial records. - Responsibilities
- Prepare and record monthly journal entries, including prepaids, accruals, amortizations, and reclasses.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support month end and year end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met and financial statements are accurate.
- Assist with variance analysis and provide explanations for fluctuations in financial results.
- Manage the prepaid expense schedule, ensuring timely and accurate amortization.
- Prepare monthly accruals for expenses, services, and other financial obligations.
- Review invoices and supporting documentation to determine appropriate accounting treatment.
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring proper documentation and audit support.
- Maintain organized and audit-ready financial records.
- Requirements
- 3+ years of operational accounting experience
- Experience with prepaids, accruals, and account reconciliation
- Proficiency in accounting software and general ledger maintenance
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
