Inside Property Adjuster - Nashville, TN (Hybrid)

Allstate is a leading insurance company dedicated to protecting families and their belongings. They are seeking an Inside Property Adjuster who will provide exceptional service to policyholders by virtually inspecting damages, investigating coverage, preparing estimates, and settling claims promptly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to policyholders
• Virtually inspect damages, investigate coverage, prepare estimates, and settle claims promptly and accurately
• Interact with customers, contractors, and vendors through various software platforms such as Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration
• Communicate through different channels including voice calls, email, and text messages
• Focus on water losses to ensure high-level support and resolution for these specific claims
• Investigate property claims by performing detailed reviews of damage and interpreting policies to determine coverage
• Evaluate and negotiate claims settlements with customers, vendors, third party carriers and claimants in accordance with all legal and business standard methodologies
• Utilize multiple tools to get the job done in a fast-paced environment, including estimate tools, job aids, and additional settlement platforms
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation is completed as you work on each claim

Skills

• 1+ years of previous customer service experience
• Excellent organization skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to interact with customers and stakeholders remotely
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in an office and virtual work environment
• Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on delivering high-quality and efficient claim resolutions
• Previous industry experience is highly desired
• As a condition of employment, your office/area may require you to obtain an adjuster and/or an appraiser license which includes passing an additional background check with the Department of Labor
• If applicable, you will be required to secure license(s) within 60 days of hire
