As a Ramp Agent, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft, while providing exceptional customer service to our passengers.
Job Overview
- Competitive salary: $25/hour
- Full-time position with immediate openings available
- Location: New York, USA (with opportunities for remote work)
- Industry: Private aviation
- Employment type: Full-time
- Work hours: 8 hours per day, with irregular and extended hours, including weekends and holidays
Job Responsibilities
- Handling cargo and baggage on and off aircraft, trucks, containers, and trailers
- Shipping cargo between terminals and aircraft
- Receiving, delivering, weighing, and reporting cargo in a freight-specific office or warehouse area
- Driving and operating belt loaders, ground power, and cooling equipment
- Servicing aircraft at gates, including towing and pushback operations
- Cleaning the interior of aircraft as required
- Working outdoors in various weather conditions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to lift, load, unload, and transport bags and cargo to/from aircraft, pack trucks, and transport lines
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of airport procedures
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain airport security clearance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with irregular schedules
