Oversee the implementation and handling of the daily operations and the guest experience for all youth spaces.

Responsibilities :
รย Responsible for the implementation and handling of the daily operation, Guest and Crew experience aspects for all Youth spaces
รย Manage the operation and lead the Youth Activities team responsible for the following venues:
รย Itรยs A Small World Nursery
รย Oceaneerรยs Club/Lab
รย Edge
รย Vibe
รย Disney Castaway Cay/ Disney Lookout Cay
รย Provide leadership for all direct reports. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
รย Manage the daily schedules for Youth Activities Staff
รย Managing personnel files
รย Conducting performance reviews, including discipline as needed
รย Ensuring Project Onboard compliance
รย Monitoring STAR, while making necessary corrections
รย Oversee onboard training, new hire and ongoing
รย Succession planning
รย Crew recognition and communication
รย Facilitate department meetings
รย Operate within budget guidelines and inventory control
รย Resolve any Guest complaints or issues
รย Responsible for Youth Activities Navigator section
รย Monitor and observe Youth Programs for Disney show quality
รย Adhere to United States Public Health (USPH) policies while ensuring Crew are trained and policies managed
รย Basic Qualifications :
รย Minimum four years recent experience in a high-volume child care operation in a recreational, camp or leisure setting
รย Minimum three years of current or previous management experience in a related field leading and motivating a large team
รย Degree in related field preferred
รย Proven experience leading a team
รย Exceptional Guest service skills
รย Strong presentation and communication skills
รย Must be receptive to CPR training while employed with DCL
รย Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
รย Ability to lead a team and anticipate and solve problems quickly
รย Computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet
รย Experience managing complex policies and detailed operational procedures
รย Be at least 21 years of age
รย Willingness to live and work onboard one of our vessels for a certain length of time
รย Can work a seven-day, 70-84 hour week with limited time off
รย Can follow Disney Cruise Line appearance guidelines
รย Additional Information :
This is a shipboard role.

You must:
รย Be genuinely interested in a career at sea and willing to live and work onboard a Disney Cruise Line vessel
รย Be willing to follow and perform safety role, emergency responsibilities and associated responsibilities as specified in the ship Assembly Plan
รย Be willing to uphold the general safety management responsibilities as specified in the Safety Management System in areas and operations under their control
รย Your Responsibilities:
รย Have a valid passport and C1/D Seaman's visa (DCL will provide you with documents to obtain this)
รย Complete a pre-employment medical
รย Obtain a criminal background check
รย Bring approved work shoes
