Job Summary:
We are looking for a Junior Data Quality Analyst Contractor to conduct thorough data quality checks, engage in the Release Lifecycle, and ensure data accuracy and timeliness. The role demands a proactive approach to identifying discrepancies, correcting data, and communicating effectively with stakeholders and data owners. The ideal candidate will be adept at data validation, have strong analytical skills, and commit to continuous data quality improvement.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and adapt to Software/Services Release Lifecycle, engage in process discussions, and identify discrepancy resolution paths.
- Perform regular data quality assessments, analyzing datasets for accuracy and completeness, and develop data quality metrics and reports.
- Validate data against original documents, rectify discrepancies, and ensure prompt and accurate data corrections.
- Communicate effectively with departments to resolve data issues, follow up on corrections, and provide progress updates to management.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation on data quality issues and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Must-Have Skills:
- Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Industry Experience:Experience or familiarity with data governance, stewardship practices, and quality frameworks is beneficial for this role.
