Job Summary

The Junior IT Associate will play a crucial role in providing technical support, assisting in system monitoring, and ensuring the integrity and security of our digital infrastructure. - Provide first-level technical support to internal staff, addressing hardware, software, and networking issues.

- Assist in monitoring systems, applications, and network performance to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.

- Maintain IT documentation, including user guides, troubleshooting steps, and asset management records.

- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team on incident response, threat detection, and prevention activities.

- Participate in IT projects such as software rollouts, system upgrades, and process improvements.

- Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelors degree (or ongoing studies) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
- *
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls).
- *
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- *
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in learning new technologies.
- Experience
- *
- 0–2 years of relevant IT support or internship experience.
- *
- Prior exposure to cybersecurity concepts or certifications (CompTIA Security+, Network+, or equivalent) is a plus but not required.
- Working Hours
- *
- Full-time position (40 hours per week).
- *
- Standard office hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
- *
- Flexibility may be required for urgent IT support or system maintenance outside regular hours.
