Job description: Adlai E. Stevenson High School (Lincolnshire, IL) is seeking a full-time 10-Month Mathematics Learning Center Tutor for the 2023-2024 school year.

Description:
The Mathematics Tutor is an in person position that will provide support either in person and/or virtually.
Provide instructional support to students in mathematics, particularly in Algebra, Geometry and all levels of Calculus.
Work collaboratively with math teams in supporting and documenting student progress.

Hours: 7:30-4pm

Qualifications:
Qualifications are as follows but not limited to:
ISBE licensure required. Must have a Para Professional License (PARA), Substitute License (SUB) or a Professional Educator License (PEL). PEL with mathematics endorsement is preferred.
Strong Calculus skills are a plus.
Strong communication skills to create meaningful connections with students and faculty required.
Teaching experience with high school students as well as providing support as part of Response to Intervention programs preferred.
