About the position
- Responsibilities
- Assemble product components with precision, using advanced tooling and equipment.
- Read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics to execute high-quality assembly.
- Read and follow written and/or visual production procedures.
- Perform inspections to ensure parts and final products meet tolerance specifications and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and/or electrical issues during and after assembly.
- Recognize and communicate problems to help identify cause and corrective actions.
- Perform some packaging/crating of specialized equipment.
- Keep a clean, organized workspace, contributing to our safety and quality culture.
- Requirements
- Skilled in using basic hand tools and electrical tools relevant to the assembly process.
- Proficient in assembly functions, including part preparation, mechanical installation, and quality inspection.
- Competent in interpreting mechanical assembly drawings and electrical schematics.
- Able to diagnose and resolve common mechanical or electrical issues encountered during assembly.
- Comfortable handling and assembling parts and tools of varying sizes.
- Competence in fundamental math and clear written communication.
- A collaborative spirit and positive contribution to a team environment.
- A strong commitment to ethical standards, quality, and dependability.
- Willingness to work overtime and on weekends when needed.
- Ability to perform tasks with precision and maintain a well-organized workspace.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs and able to stand for extended periods of time.
