Job Description
ย This position is responsible for the retrieval and control of Raw Material for the daily line functions in manufacturing.
ย Daily cleaning of kitting areas including removal of cardboard and trash.
ย And any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
ย Pull raw material from the warehouse for manufacturing.
ย Empty large trash and cardboard bins.
ย Sweep floors to maintain proper housekeeping requirement.
ย Pull pallets to lines from staging area.
ย Attends training sessions as directed.
ย Helps train production operators as directed.

ย Ability to operate a manual pallet jack to move inventory throughout the kitting processes.
Education And/or Experience
ย High school education or equivalent preferred.
ย One or more years of warehouse and manufacturing experience preferred.
Language Skills
ย Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
ย Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to supervisor, management, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
ย Ability to complete basic math calculations. Convert English units of measure to metric.
Reasoning Ability
ย Ability to apply common sense when carrying out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
ย Ability to be a self-starter with the initiative to perform job responsibilities without direct supervision.
ย Accuracy, completeness, and attention to detail are essential.
Physical Demands
ย The employee is often required to stand and reach with hands, arms, and lifts and/or moves up to 30 pounds.
ย Employee is required to meet with other personnel in other areas of the building.
ย Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
ย Employee is required to operate all types of material handling equipment.
Work Environment
ย A person in this job will occasionally be exposed to moderate to occasionally loud noise and will work near moving equipment.
ย This is a manufacturing warehouse environment.
