About the Role A leading AI research initiative is recruiting Biology PhDs to contribute domain expertise toward a flagship project advancing large language models (LLMs). In this role, you will design, solve, and evaluate challenging, real-world biology problems that improve the scientific accuracy and reasoning capabilities of next-generation AI systems. Key Responsibilities • Create and assess complex biology problems across various subfields including molecular biology, genetics, ecology, and physiology. • Evaluate AI-generated responses for conceptual accuracy, scientific rigor, and clarity. • Provide structured written feedback on solutions, experiments, and biological reasoning. • Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and engineers to enhance model understanding of biological systems. • Maintain precision and academic quality across all deliverables used in AI training and evaluation. Ideal Qualifications • PhD in Biology or a closely related field from a top-tier university (U.S., U.K., Canada, or Europe preferred). • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Strong analytical mindset and attention to scientific detail. • Excellent proficiency in English. • Prior experience in teaching, research, or academic publishing is a plus.
