Position Summary As a Business Analyst, your mortgage knowledge will play a critical role in contributing to the development and enhancement of our loan origination platform and custom portal. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver exceptional service to our clients and maintain our competitive edge in the mortgage industry. Specific Duties and Responsibilities · Outline operational workflows within the mortgage loan application · Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and define requirements for mortgage loan process improvements or system enhancements · Participate in the development and implementation of rules for loan processing and origination. · Conduct troubleshooting and provide solutions for system-related issues. · Write clear, concise requirement documents for new system features and bug fixes. · Create mock-ups for new system interfaces and enhancements with focus on user experience. · Validate and test system enhancements, feature releases and workflow changes. · Complete comparison assessments between systems to ensure accuracy throughout. · Organize and prioritize tasks effectively to manage multiple projects simultaneously. · Be responsible for documenting processes, procedures, and system functions. · Contribute to our DevOps practices and continuous improvement efforts. Preferred Qualifications and Experience · Extensive knowledge in the mortgage industry, particularly in areas related to loan origination and processing. · 3+ years proven experience in the mortgage industry, particularly in areas related to loan origination and processing · Experience with rules writing with a solid understanding of loan origination platforms or custom POS portals. · Ability to work independently. · Strong organizational skills with exceptional multitasking abilities and excellent communication. · Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. · Technical writing skills are a significant plus. · Familiarity with DevOps concepts and practices. Physical and Work Conditions Standard office environment, equipment, and tasks, including work at a computer terminal. This position requires partial sitting and walking throughout the day. Employees must be open to working overtime to complete assigned tasks.
