- Daedalus Law is a NY Law Firm that helps clients rapidly, consistently and inexpensively negotiate high-volume, routine contracts (primarily investment NDAs). - *Job Summary:**
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Online Administrative Assistant to provide essential support in our legal practice. This role is perfect for someone with strong organizational and communication skills and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, virtual environment. The ideal candidate will be Certified as a paralegal, possess proficiency in basic computer functions, virtual systems, Microsoft Office, and have the capacity to multitask. - *Duties:**
- Assist with administrative functions within the Firm, which include but not limited to;
- Administrative Support: Includes processing end-to-end client requests, assisting attorneys with preparing documents, communicating with all parties and ensuring accurate data is reflected in our systems.
- Project Management: Assist in organizing and tracking the progress of various legal and administrative projects. Ensure deadlines are met and priorities are effectively communicated.
- Communication: Handle email correspondence and maintain clear and professional communication with clients and team members.
- Document Preparation: Assist in editing and formatting legal documents, contracts, and correspondence (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe).
- Data Entry: Enter, update, and maintain client information, case data, and other relevant documents in online databases.
- Time Management: Prioritize and manage your workload to ensure timely completion of all tasks.
- *Experience:**
- Certified Paralegal for at least one year.
- Previous Administrative Experience: 5 or more yearsβ experience in a similar administrative or support role is preferred. Strong attention to detail when preparing, reviewing, and proofreading documents is a must.Familiarity with office workflows and administrative tasks are a plus.
- Project Management Experience: Hands-on experience with project management tools and basic knowledge of project management processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills: Proficiency in advanced features of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe.
- Customer Service or Client Interaction: Experience interacting with clients or customers, either in-person or remotely.
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills: High proficiency in English. Written communication skills including drafting emails, memos, and documents professionally.
- Data Management Skills: Experience working with databases and maintaining digital filing systems. Familiar with SharePoint and Zoho are a plus.
- Time Management and Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision. Experience working in a high-pressure or fast-paced environment is beneficial.
As a remote position, you'll work from home and manage your own schedule. Expected 8 hours shifts between EST 2pm β 11pm / UTC/GMT 6am β 3am / IST 11:30 am β 8:30am / CST 2pm β 11am.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 β 40 per week
