We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Online Math Tutor to work with middle school and high school students (grades 6–12) through live virtual sessions. This is a fully remote tutoring position ideal for educators who enjoy teaching math online and helping students build confidence and improve performance.
- Responsibilities
- Provide 1-on-1 online math tutoring to middle and high school students
- Teach subjects including 6th–12th grade math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus
- Help students with homework, quizzes, tests, and long-term skill development
- Break down complex math concepts into clear, easy-to-understand steps
- Adapt instruction to different learning styles and academic levels
- Track student progress and provide feedback as needed
- Requirements
- Strong understanding of middle school and high school math curriculum
- Prior experience tutoring or teaching math (online or in person preferred)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable internet connection and access to a computer with video capability
- Comfortable using online teaching tools (Zoom, Google Meet, digital whiteboards)
- Availability during after-school, evening, or weekend hours
- Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
- Degree in Math, Education, Engineering, or related field
- Teaching certification
- Experience with online tutoring platforms
- Test prep experience (state exams, SAT/ACT math)
