As a Part‑Time Remote Cybersecurity Analyst (Data Entry focus) , you will play a pivotal role in identifying, mitigating, and learning from security incidents. This position offers a unique blend of hands‑on technical work and strategic coordination, providing you with a launchpad for a dynamic career in network security. Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do Every Day Collaborate with internal business stakeholders to gather and translate security requirements into concrete technical solutions. Ensure that security controls align with internal tools, industry best practices, and Nexlith’s compliance standards. Manage timelines for design, development, testing, and deployment of security initiatives, guaranteeing on‑time and on‑budget delivery. Serve as a liaison between business units and the IT Security team to facilitate clear, effective communication. Participate actively in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and continuous monitoring activities. Document incidents, response actions, and lessons learned in a structured, data‑driven format for future reference. Assist in the configuration and maintenance of security tools such as Proofpoint PhishAlarm, ServiceNow GRC, and other incident management platforms. Support the creation and upkeep of security policies, standard operating procedures, and awareness training materials. Provide on‑call support for critical security events, ensuring rapid escalation and remediation. Contribute to cross‑functional projects that integrate security into broader digital transformation initiatives at Workora. Essential Qualifications – What We Require Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation. Fundamental knowledge of information security concepts, risk mitigation frameworks, and standard operating procedures. Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting technical findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing multiple tasks while meeting stringent deadlines. Professional demeanor with a collaborative, empathetic, and customer‑focused attitude. Preferred Qualifications – Desired Experience & Skills Exposure to or hands‑on experience with Proofpoint PhishAlarm for phishing detection and response. Familiarity with ServiceNow Administration and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) modules. Background in business analysis, process modeling, and improvement methodologies (e.g., BPMN, Lean). Experience managing enterprise‑wide security programs, including design, implementation, and maintenance. Prior experience in an entry‑level investigative or analyst role within a security‑focused organization (1+ year preferred). Exposure to agile methodologies and a willingness to adopt flexible, iterative work processes. Coursework or certifications related to network security (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP‑Associate, CEH). Track record of handling business problems in capstone projects, case competitions, or real‑world consulting engagements.
