Special Education Teacher - Fantastic Contract... Opportunity
Schedule Details:
ย Location of Services: Local School Campus
ย Lewistown, PA
ย Academic School Year Calendar, following Standard School Hours.
Typical Job Duties:
ย Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student.
ย Adapt lesson plans and teaching methods to meet the diverse learning styles and abilities of students in special education.
ย Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including parents, therapists, and other educators, to ensure comprehensive support for students.
ย Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed to maximize learning outcomes.
ย Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and success.
Qualifications:
ย Bachelorยs or Masterยs degree in Special Education or a related field from an accredited institution.
ย Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
ย Additional endorsements or certifications in specific areas of special education (Autism Spectrum Disorders, Learning Disabilities, etc.) is a plus.
