Job Description

About the Role
We're hiring a full-time Pharmacy Concierge for our U.S.-based operations team. This dual role combines clinical pharmacy support with high-touch patient coordination—because someone needs to make expensive medications actually accessible to the people who need them.

Your primary responsibility is onboarding patients into the ZorroRX program while ensuring the member makes their way through the onboarding process and their prescriptions get to the right pharmacy. This includes responding to inquiries, addressing medication concerns, and ensuring patients understand both our services and their treatment protocols. You'll also handle escalated issues from our offshore support team (because not everything can be solved with a flowchart).

    What We Offer
  • Competitive salary with performance-based incentives
  • 100% Covered health insurance (same plan our CEO with multiple chronic diseases has)
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Remote work flexibility
  • The satisfaction of making medications accessible to people who need them
    Who We Are
  • We're a pharmacy benefits marketplace.
  • Our founders are patients on expensive medications and providers who have prescribed them.
  • We're transparent. No hidden markups. No rebate games.

What You'll Do

    Patient Coordination:
  • Contact new patients to explain the ZorroRX program and onboarding process
  • Coordinate patient appointments with pharmacists and manage scheduling changes
  • Address patient questions about program benefits, medication access, and cost savings
  • Handle escalations from offshore medical liaison team, including securing provider signatures on collaborative practice agreements
  • Pharmacy Technician Duties:
  • Review patient medication profiles for accuracy
  • Support medication therapy management by preparing patient files for pharmacist consultations
  • Coordinate with network pharmacies regarding prescription transfers and fulfillment
  • Administrative:
  • Document all patient interactions, medication changes, and issue resolutions in our CRM system
  • Track prescription processing timelines and proactively address delays
  • Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and patient privacy requirements

Who You Are

    Required Qualifications
  • Active Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT or state-specific certification)
  • Experience in retail, hospital, or specialty pharmacy operations
  • Knowledge of prescription processing, insurance claims, and prior authorization workflows
  • Understanding of medication classifications, particularly specialty and high-cost drugs
  • Preferred Background
  • Experience with specialty pharmacy operations or high-cost medication coordination
  • Previous patient care coordination or medical liaison experience
  • Familiarity with 340B pharmacy programs (helpful, not required)
  • Experience with fertility medications, autoimmune treatments, or cardio-metabolic therapies
  • Technical Requirements
  • Proficient with pharmacy management systems and CRM platforms
  • Comfortable with online phone/fax tools and basic office software
  • Experience with insurance verification and prior authorization systems
  • Strong documentation skills for regulatory compliance
    Key Traits
  • Competent: You understand medications well enough to have meaningful conversations with patients and providers
  • Empathetically persistent: You can follow up politely but consistently over days or weeks until issues are resolved
  • Detail-oriented: Because medication errors aren't just inconvenient—they're dangerous
  • Self-motivated: You work independently in a remote environment without requiring constant supervision
  • Clear communicator: You can explain complex pharmacy processes in terms patients actually understand
