Job Description
Zebra Technologies is a community of innovators dedicated to creating smart solutions. They are seeking a Product Manager to drive the development, launch, and adoption of products that enhance customer experience and market share.
Responsibilities
- Develops general knowledge of market, competitive landscape, customer requirements, distribution channels and Zebra offerings for assigned product(s)
- Contributes to development and presentation of routine business cases by completing supportive research and other tasks under the supervision of senior team members
- Develops product lifecycle knowledge for assigned product lines
- Assists with complete or partial product offer definitions, rallies teams to create the product offer following Zebra’s New Product Introduction (NPI), assists in the coordination of post launch activities such as sales support, bid and quote support, and customer presentations
- Participates in product launch activities as part of a cross functional team. May be assigned tasks associated with SKU setup, pricing review, ROI model creation, or providing marketing collateral input and feedback, conducting training and webinars and occasional customer presentations
- Assists in trade shows and customer demonstrations
- Contributes to innovation by generating ideas
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration with no experience
- Strong attention to detail / quality
- Strong process adherence
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft business applications including: Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Customer service values / orientation
- Strong professional work behaviors (attendance, teamwork, time management, follow through)
- Demonstrates good judgement in decision making, applies knowledge and experience to guide decisions
- Strong business acumen
- Strong communication skills
- Intermediate problem solving skills
- Previous experience in full life-cycle product management
- Exposure to JIRA
