Title: Product Operations Consultant
Location: 100% Remote (Eastern Time Zone)
Type: Contract
Rate: $41 per hour
Education: Education and experience equivalent to a four-year college degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or other related field is required
- Support of client’s growth strategy and organizational transformation projects by:
- Standing up new systems to support life insurance products
- Delivering new and innovative life insurance products on a state-of-the-art policy platform
- Designing and developing automated testing processes to support the implementation of life products
- Engaging with third-party administrator (TPA) to identify and resolve life product issues
- Execution of test plans on the policy administrative systems and product illustration systems
- Developing, testing, and maintaining Excel spreadsheet calculation tools
- Providing oversight of TPA processes and procedures involving product calculations
- Analyzing business requirements, product specifications, policy contracts, annual statements, and supplemental reports to justify implementation decisions
- Requirements:
- Education and experience equivalent to a four-year college degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or other related field is required
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) is preferred
- Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail
- Ability to understand and interpret technical written material
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, for delivery to a variety of audiences
- Learning mindset, focus on continuous process improvement
- Effective use of technology and ability to navigate complex virtual environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Experience with individual life insurance.
