Job Description:
We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for providers within a child care services program. This role involves assisting with inquiries, resolving billing issues, and providing technical support for the billing system. This position is home-based with occasional travel to headquarters. A valid driverยs license and access to an insured vehicle are required.
Key Responsibilities:
ย Assist providers with understanding program requirements and addressing billing concerns.
ย Provide technical support for the billing and payment systems.
ย Create support tickets and escalate unresolved issues.
ย Respond to rate change inquiries and connect providers with relevant teams.
ย Update provider details and process password change requests.
ย Handle customer service inquiries and resolve or escalate as needed.
ย Maintain accurate billing by updating school calendars in the system.
ย Foster a positive, collaborative team environment.
ย Stay updated on industry trends and handle special projects as needed.
Required Qualifications:
ย Bachelorยs degree in a related field.
ย Minimum of three years of professional experience in a human services or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
ย Experience in child care services or a similar field.
ย At least one year of experience in customer service.
ย Knowledge of federal regulations related to child care or public assistance programs.

ย Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and telephony software.
