Reddit Bot Developer for Dynamic Auto Transport Estimate Replies
Overview:
We are Bigfella Auto Express — a licensed auto transport brokerage in the U.S. We want to build a Reddit bot that automatically monitors and replies to quote requests in the r/AutoTransport subreddit with live estimates based on our internal pricing logic.
Scope of Work:
Monitor r/AutoTransport Subreddit
Look for posts or comments requesting quotes
Trigger reply if keywords like "ship," "cost," "quote," "transport car," etc. appear
Extract Details
Try to parse the following from the post:
Pickup and dropoff locations
Vehicle make and model
Desired shipping timeframe
Open or enclosed preference (if stated)
Estimate Pricing
Run logic based on our in-house quote calculator (can be done via API, JS injection, or hardcoded formula)
Return:
Open carrier price range
Enclosed carrier price range (optional)
Estimated delivery time
Nearest availability window
Post a Custom Reply
Insert a templated but customized response with the above data
Include booking CTA, brand trust signals, and link to quote tool
Respect Reddit’s Rules
Auto-throttle reply frequency
Support account rotation if needed
Include logs of what posts were replied to
