Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do Every Day As a Remote Data Entry & Financial Analysis Associate , you will be a vital member of Remotiuma’s Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Bookkeeping team. Your day‑to‑day duties will include: Data Entry & Validation: Accurately input financial transactions, sales data, and inventory metrics into our ERP system, ensuring data integrity across multiple business units. Monthly Close Support: Assist in the preparation of month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing activities, reconciling accounts and supporting the generation of financial statements. Financial Reporting: Compile, format, and distribute periodic financial and operational reports for senior leadership, highlighting key trends and performance indicators. Ad‑hoc Financial Analysis: Gather, cleanse, and analyze data to identify cost‑saving opportunities, pricing variances, and risk factors, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders. Process Improvement Projects: Participate in cross‑functional initiatives aimed at streamlining bookkeeping workflows, improving data accuracy, and enhancing reporting efficiency. Collaboration & Communication: Partner with internal teams—including Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain—to collect data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure alignment with financial goals. Essential Qualifications – What You Need to Succeed Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 2 + years of experience in bookkeeping, data entry, or financial analysis—internships, part‑time roles, or campus projects count. Analytical Mindset: Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret data, spot trends, and propose logical solutions.
