Job Description
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Revolut is a financial technology company on a mission to provide more control and visibility over money for its customers. They are seeking a Senior Finance Manager to manage technical accounting and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and leading the external audit process.
- Responsibilities
- Using Workiva to prepare and review our annual and quarterly financial statements
- Ensuring that financial statements comply with relevant requirements and best practises
- Delivering process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the financial reporting process
- Developing the Group’s accounting policies, ensuring they're up to date and in compliance with IFRS
- Providing financial reporting and technical accounting advice on the launch of new products, expansion initiatives, and corporate restructuring activities
- Supporting the ongoing development of technical accounting and financial reporting policies, processes, and controls to ensure objectives are met in a cost-effective and efficient manner
- Leading the external audit process
- Skills
- To be a designated accountant (e.g., ACA, CPA) with a relevant degree from a top university
- 5+ years of post-qualified experience in a senior accounting or finance role (controllership function, internal accounting, reporting, assurance, etc.)
- Expertise applying IFRS, technical accounting, and financial reporting in a banking or fintech environment
- Experience with reporting requirements for listed entities (preferably SEC-related)
- 4+ years of people leadership experience
- Excellent organisational skills to plan and organise work efficiently
- A structural and logical approach to solving problems
- Excellent analytical skills and a hands-on attitude
- Great motivation and focus on delivery
- Good knowledge of SQL and/or Python
- Experience with NetSuite and/or Workiva
- IPO experience
