Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. 7Seventy Recruiting is seeking a Financial Analyst to perform financial analysis on company expenses, income, and overall business results. The role involves helping leadership understand financial trends, identifying risks and opportunities, and making data-driven decisions to improve performance. Responsibilities β€’ Perform financial analysis on company income, expenses, and other business results based on historical, current, and projected operations. β€’ Research, analyze, and report fluctuations in financial and business results to identify trends and variances; recommend actions to improve performance and resolve issues. β€’ Analyze differences between actual financial results and budgeted amounts; advise management on potential cost impacts and suggest corrective actions. β€’ Assist in preparing company budgets and financial forecasts to support business plans. β€’ Monitor and evaluate individual department expenses and identify trends to support cost control efforts. β€’ Recommend changes to streamline accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency and resource utilization. β€’ Prepare reports outlining the company’s financial position, including income, expenses, and earnings, to support financial decision-making. β€’ Analyze and interpret financial reports and statistics for management; make recommendations to support sound business decisions. Skills β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience. β€’ 4+ years of financial analysis or related experience. β€’ Demonstrated experience performing cost-benefit and alternative scenario analysis. β€’ Proven ability to document, propose, negotiate, and present approaches and solutions to stakeholders. β€’ Proficiency with spreadsheet applications (such as Microsoft Excel) and mainframe or ERP accounting systems. β€’ Ability to visualize and plan for future business outcomes and changes. β€’ Strong understanding of business implications, interdependencies, and system interfaces. β€’ Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to work across teams and levels. β€’ Experience facilitating meetings and negotiating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. β€’ Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment. β€’ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences. β€’ Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment in day-to-day responsibilities. β€’ Experience working with ERP systems. β€’ Knowledge of SAP or similar enterprise financial systems.
