Job Summary
- Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist to join our growing remote team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for supporting various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and HR policy implementation. This is a full-time, remote position offering the flexibility to work from home while being an integral part of a forward-thinking, people-first organization.Key Responsibilities

- Support the full recruitment cycle: job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.

- Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees and managers.

- Maintain and update employee records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

- Handle employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality.
- *
- Coordinate performance management processes and assist with performance reviews.

- Assist with the development, implementation, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.

- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

- Maintain HR metrics and prepare regular reports for management.
- *
- Organize training sessions and workshops to enhance employee engagement and development.

- Partner with leadership on employee engagement initiatives and retention strategies.
- Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- *
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance.
- *
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- *
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
- *
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- *
- Proficiency in HR software and tools (e.g., HRIS, ATS, Microsoft Office Suite).

- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
- Experience
- *
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar HR role.
- *
- Experience in remote or distributed work environments is preferred.
- *
- Proven experience in handling sensitive employee matters and managing HR processes end-to-end.
- Working Hours
- *
- Full-time position: 40 hours per week.
- *
- Monday to Friday, flexible working hours with availability during core business hours (9 AM – 5 PM CST).
- *
- 100% remote – work from anywhere with a stable internet connection.
