Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Cognes Medical Solutions is building a smartphone-based, non-invasive screening and monitoring platform for dementia detection. They are seeking senior neurologists, psychiatrists, physicians, clinical researchers, and healthcare executives to join their Board of Advisors to support scientific validation, adoption, and capital formation. Responsibilities β’ Contribute strategically rather than operationally β’ Support clinical validation and evidence-generation strategy β’ Advise on trial design, endpoints, and protocol optimization β’ Inform research-use and early clinical adoption pathways β’ Guide regulatory sequencing (research-use β CE/FDA) β’ Contribute to health-economic and system-level positioning β’ Facilitate strategic partnerships across academia, pharma, CROs, and healthcare systems β’ Define optimal clinical and research use cases for early cognitive screening β’ Inform trial design, study endpoints, and longitudinal monitoring strategies β’ Advise on integration into research, memory-clinic, and specialty-care workflows β’ Support regulatory, ethics, and compliance strategy development β’ Inform commercialization sequencing across research, pharma, and healthcare markets β’ Provide strategic input on global adoption and expansion priorities Skills β’ Familiarity with clinical research, diagnostics, or regulated healthcare environments β’ Comfort providing strategic guidance rather than hands-on execution β’ Interest in advancing early detection and improving dementia outcomes β’ Willingness to commit 1β2 hours per month for advisory engagement β’ 10+ years of experience in one or more relevant domains Benefits β’ Advisory equity or equity-linked incentives, aligned with contribution and engagement β’ Early access to Cognesβ current Seed financing round, alongside strategic and institutional investors β’ The opportunity to participate as a physician, researcher, or healthcare-executive investor, based on individual interest and eligibility Company Overview β’ Cognes is developing a scalable, self-administered & non-invasive dementia screening method through a smartphone app utilizing machine-learning technology.
