Job Description
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Overture Rede is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle database environments. The role involves installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup & recovery, and ensuring high availability for mission-critical systems.
- Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle databases (11g / 12c / 19c)
- Monitor database performance and implement performance tuning
- Manage Backup & Recovery strategies using RMAN
- Implement and maintain High Availability solutions (RAC, Data Guard)
- Perform database patching, migration, and upgrades
- Ensure database security, user access management, and compliance
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis
- Conduct database health checks and capacity planning
- Work closely with application and infrastructure teams
- Skills
- Strong experience with Oracle 11g / 12c / 19c
- Hands-on experience with RMAN, RAC, and Data Guard
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments
- Knowledge of Shell scripting
- Strong database performance tuning skills
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
- Experience with Cloud platforms (OCI / AWS / Azure)
- Experience in Banking / Telecom / Enterprise environments
