Compensation: Commensurate with experienceAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Visualization Specialist with deep expertise in Tableau to join our team on a part-time, contract basis. This is a remote 1099 position open to candidates based in the United States only. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transforming data into actionable insights through compelling visualizations and dashboards.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and visualizations tailored to business and user requirementsInterpret data, analyze results, and present findings in a clear and visually engaging formatCollaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into effective visual solutionsProvide guidance on data visualization best practices and dashboard usabilityEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and performance in all Tableau solutionsAssist with integrating Tableau dashboards into broader analytics workflows or business platformsRequired QualificationsProven success (2+ years) working with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/OnlineStrong portfolio of dashboards and data visualizations demonstrating advanced Tableau capabilitiesProficient in data preparation and transformation techniques using tools such as SQL, Excel, or other BI platformsAbility to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote work environmentExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholdersMust be authorized to work in the U.S. – no visa sponsorship is available for this rolePowered by JazzHR
