Job Description
The Technician ΓΒ Service 2 is responsible for working on various vending/fountain equipment.
What your day will look like:
ΓΒ Performing mechanical service on cold drink equipment
ΓΒ Installing mechanical components
ΓΒ Customer interaction
ΓΒ Inventory control
ΓΒ Microsoft Office/Mobilizer
ΓΒ Maintain Company vehicle
ΓΒ Cross training
ΓΒ Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management
What you need to succeed:
ΓΒ Minimum age 21 years old
ΓΒ Valid driverΓΒs license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
ΓΒ Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
ΓΒ Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
ΓΒ Ability to read, write and speak English
ΓΒ Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
ΓΒ Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
ΓΒ Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
ΓΒ One-year certificate from college or technical school; or 24 to 48 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
ΓΒ A minimum of 2-4 years knowledge of Cold Drink Equipment or appliance repair needed. Ability to read wiring diagrams, repair manuals, and use a Multi-Meter
ΓΒ Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
ΓΒ Basic Equipment Service Training (BEST)/ Automated Beverage System (ABS)/ Advanced ABS/ Hot Beverage and Coca-Cola Freestyle (CCFS) training with a passing mark through approved Coca-Cola North America (CCNA) instructor
ΓΒ Refrigeration Certification Type 1 required
ΓΒ Knowledge of electrical theory and practical applications
ΓΒ Ability to analyze and problem solve to respond and resolve any customer issues
ΓΒ Ability to work with all functional team members
ΓΒ Microsoft Excel knowledge preferred
ΓΒ Use hand and power tools
ΓΒ Frequent sitting
ΓΒ Continuous bending, kneeling/squatting, overhead reaching, grasping, fine manipulation, and exposure to chemical and weather
ΓΒ Repeated standing, walking, climbing stairs, typing/keyboard, vehicle operation, pushing/pulling, lifting, carrying ΓΒ up to 50 lbs., and exposure to water and noise
Physical Requirements
Position will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program. Position is required to wear safety toed shoes when performing the following tasks: Operating Powered Industrial Equipment or Working in an Area where Powered Industrial Equipment is in use, Fleet Maintenance, Working with Palletized Product, Use of Hand Trucks/Dollies to Deliver Product, Cooler Services, etc.
