Job Description

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Otto Aerospace is developing the world’s first fifth-generation business jet with a focus on sustainability through advanced aerodynamics and composite materials. The Principal Technical Program Manager will oversee program management for Structures and Materials & Process Engineering, ensuring products are delivered on time and within budget while driving integration and development efforts.

    Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate the budget, schedule, and product development plans to all stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the Structures work package owners to define activities across all program phases: requirements & concept development, design, manufacturing, testing, qualification, certification, and transition to production
  • Support Supply Chain with management of external suppliers
  • Provide and maintain engineering inputs to the integrated master schedule to enable accurate program metrics and visibility
  • Define goals, track deliverables, identify risk, and drive mitigation plans; establish effective execution rhythms and tools to ensure alignment and accountability
  • Assess resource requirements and highlight gaps across various stages for all projects
  • Coordinate with other TPMs to prepare project reports, summarizing status, risks, mitigations, and opportunities for all levels of management
  • Manage the project roadmap within the framework of the overall program strategy
    Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering or other related field
  • A minimum of eight (8) years in technical program/project management role, preferably in the aviation industry
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of total experience (an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered)
  • Structures engineering experience throughout the product lifecycle, including composite material system development and aerostructures certification
  • Project management experience in complex aircraft structures development through design, testing, and qualification phases
  • Experience with MS Project, Primavera, Jama, Jira and/or other project management tools
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing standard processes
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work cross‐functionally, build relationships, and manage conflict
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive delivery of communication and follow up
  • Ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints
  • Demonstrated agility and autonomous decision-making within ambiguous situations
  • Experience with Dassault 3DX is preferred
