Job Title: Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician (Remote β Contract to Hire) Pay: $20/hour Schedule: Full-time | Multiple shifts available (see below) Location: Fully Remote (Preference for candidates located in the PST time zone) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. This fully remote position is ideal for candidates with prior authorization and call center experience who thrive in a fast-paced, member-focused environment. As a Tech I Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician , you will: β’ Handle inbound calls from providers, pharmacies, and members. β’ Provide professional and courteous assistance through the criteria-based prior authorization process. β’ Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all reviews. β’ Transfer all clinical questions, escalations, and judgment calls to the pharmacist team. β’ Assist with related tasks such as outbound calls , processing fax/ePA prior authorizations , monitoring department mailboxes, and other duties as assigned. Training β’ Schedule: Monday β Friday, 10:00 AM β 6:30 PM CST (for 5 weeks) β’ Requirement: Candidates must be available for the full training period with no planned time off . Work Schedule After Training β’ Monday β Friday: 11:00 AM β 11:00 PM CST (multiple 8-hour shifts; assigned after training; candidates can bid on preferred shifts) β’ Saturday β Sunday: 8:00 AM β 11:00 PM CST (multiple 8-hour shifts) Qualifications β’ Pharmacy Technician license/certification (state-specific requirements apply) β’ Prior Authorization experience required β’ Call center experience required β’ Strong attention to detail and documentation skills β’ Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting β’ Preference for candidates in the PST time zone What We Offer β’ $20 per hour with opportunity for contract-to-hire conversion β’ Fully remote β work from the comfort of home .
