Elite Talent Consulting is a highly respected national Labor & Employment law firm seeking an experienced employer-side Special Counsel to manage sophisticated litigation and counseling matters across multiple jurisdictions. The role offers full autonomy with no sales pressure, focusing on employer-side matters such as employment litigation, counseling, and collaboration with a national legal team.
- Responsibilities
- You’ll independently own employer-side matters, including:
- EPLI-covered employment litigation
- Single-plaintiff employment disputes
- Administrative agency matters (EEOC, DOL, state agencies)
- Demand letters & pre-litigation strategy
- Full litigation lifecycle (pleadings → resolution)
- Employment counseling & risk mitigation
- Working with a collaborative national legal team
- Occasional in-person hearings or mediations may be required based on jurisdiction
- Skills
- 7–25 years of employment law experience
- Strong employer-side litigation background
- Law firm experience required
- Comfortable running matters autonomously
- Excellent writing & client-facing skills
- Thrives in a remote environment
- You must be actively barred in at least one of the following states: Texas, California, Arizona, New York
