Title: Senior Tax Manager - Indirect Tax
Compensation/Package: $150K - $170K (DOE), performance bonus, full comprehensive benefits, 401(k) match, remote schedule
Location: 100% Remote (U.S. based)

We’re a 180+ employee, nationally recognized specialty tax advisory firm focused on delivering state and local tax (SALT) solutions for complex, multi-state businesses. While our practice is best known for deep sales & use tax consulting, we also advise clients across different arenas, including property tax, value-added tax (VAT), unclaimed property, R&D credits, and broader indirect tax recovery and incentive strategies.
Our teams partner with organizations in manufacturing, construction, retail, distribution, energy, and other asset-intensive sectors to uncover savings, manage risk, and navigate evolving indirect tax regulations. Unlike traditional CPA firms, we operate in a highly specialized, project-driven environment where technical depth and measurable client impact are paramount.
We continue to experience strong national growth, creating clear pathways for leadership and advancement. Due to continued expansion, we’re seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Senior Manager to lead complex engagements and support practice growth.
- What You'll Do:
- Build and nurture enduring relationships with clients to deliver high-quality state and local tax solutions
- Advise multi-state businesses on indirect tax exposure, nexus determinations, and compliance strategy
- Oversee client deliverables, project timelines, and quality control across multiple concurrent engagements
- Identify planning opportunities and support business development initiatives
- Mentor and develop managers, seniors, and associates within the sales & use tax practice
- What We're Looking For:
- 10+ years of progressive SALT experience, particularly with sales & use tax
- Background in a specialty tax practice environment (Big 4 preferred)
- Deep technical knowledge of multi-state indirect tax rules, taxability matrices, and audit processes
- Strong project management and team leadership skills
- CPA, JD, or equivalent advanced tax credential preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field
