Job Details:
ย Conducting assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities while working from a remote area.
ย Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders and difficulties.
ย Providing direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
ย Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development and progress.
ย Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
ย Participating in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and providing input regarding students' communication needs.
Qualifications:
ย Louisiana State License to practice Speech and Language Pathology.
ย Type C- Credential (will take education cred. pending)
ย Masters in Speech and Language Pathology or Teacher of Speech and Language Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
ย Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
ย Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
ย Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other professionals.
