Geomagical Labs builds and operates the pioneering IKEA Kreativ 3D+AI app, used by tens of millions of people, in partnership with IKEA. They are seeking an ambitious, hands-on, front-end web technical lead to design and engineer compelling experiences and lead their flagship web application team. Responsibilities ā¢ Be the ambitious tech leader of a 5 person global web tech team ā¢ Design, build, and innovate magical UX features for our IKEA Kreativ 3D web apps --- making them successful and loved by customers ā¢ Be the go-to expert for challenging front-end tech issues ā¢ Make awesome software, and make your team more awesome ā¢ Promote wise practices, leading to stability & velocity ā¢ Reliably coordinate roadmaps with distributed tech teams ā¢ Work closely with IKEA for an integrated IKEA experience ā¢ Drive Geomagical's cultural values & leadership principles Skills ā¢ Strong foundations in Computer Science - degree from competitive university a bonus ā¢ Expert skills with modern Javascript/Typescript languages in React framework ā¢ Mastery of Internet technologies & modern web stacks ā¢ Experience with tracking, debugging & performance optimization ā¢ 5+ years engineering full-stack codebases live in production ā¢ Success guiding 3+ person tech teams for important projects ā¢ Proven success solving complex systems engineering problems ā¢ Familiar with best practices of web devops, CI/CD and QA ā¢ USA resident + can adjust calendar for meetings with Europe ā¢ Experience building consumer internet apps desired ā¢ Experience programming 3D graphics technologies ā¢ Startup experience preferred Benefits ā¢ Annual performance bonus, based on team & company OKRs ā¢ Excellent health and retirement benefits Company Overview ā¢ Geomagical Labs mission is to help everyone realize an inspired home.
