Home Warranty is currently taking applications for a reliable individual to work in our customer department. The ideal candidate would have strong communication skills as well as computer skills and customer service experience. This opportunity has a variety of job duties, a casual work environment and great benefits with a progressive, fast-growing company. We are looking for Sunday-Thursday 11:00AM to 8:00PM.
During training, you will be required to work in office from 8AM-5PM.
Responsibilities
ΓΒ Investigate the nature of the incident being claimed
ΓΒ Evaluate inspection reports, photos, previous service invoices
ΓΒ Enter data detailing the events and damage related to the incident
ΓΒ Review the claim-holder's warranty in order to determine what should be covered
ΓΒ Coordinate the services of mechanics to ensure the item is repaired
ΓΒ Negotiate claim settlements with claimants
ΓΒ Able to meet performance metrics
Qualifications
ΓΒ 1+ years prior experience in a similar role or call center experience is strongly preferred
ΓΒ Willingness to accept new challenges
ΓΒ Superior communication skills
ΓΒ Analytical thinking skills
ΓΒ A strong attention to detail
ΓΒ Ability to handle conflict
ΓΒ Sound computer skills or the ability to quickly learn new software
ΓΒ A strong work ethic and time management skills
ΓΒ Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and/or electrical systems preferred
ΓΒ Ability to stay productive while working independently (there will be support for questions after hours)
ΓΒ Distraction free workplace/office.
